Junior Emily Primm was elected secretary of the 2018 class after the position was made vacant by former Benjamin student Ana Weed. Weed, who won the election in the spring and was set to return as the sitting secretary, moved to Massachusetts with her family earlier this month.
Primm shared her thoughts on the matter after being announced secretary.
“I’m so happy to have been elected secretary of the junior class, because this year is [very] important. We deal with homecoming and prom, and I hope to be able to organize these events and plan them as best as I can. I want to make them the best as they can be for [the school]!
